The Arizona Law Journal of Emerging Technologies (AzLawJET) is currently accepting submissions. Please submit your papers via Expresso. Questions?

We are primarily interested in articles, essays, and response papers focused on the emerging technologies of modern times, and their moral, ethical and legal implications for society. We invite submissions of unpublished articles, essays from the legal community and beyond, for this interdisciplinary journal. All submissions should conform to the 20th edition of The Bluebook.

Arizona Law Journal of Emerging Technologies CALL FOR PAPERS and Op-Eds

The Arizona Law Journal of Emerging Technologies(“AZLawJET”) at the University of Arizona seeks Op-Eds and Articles for its Spring 2021 volume, on issues of law, emerging technologies, business, and policy.

Topics include: Issues of law and public policy and business relating to emerging technology, emerging medical treatments, intellectual property rights, autonomous vehicles and machines are just some examples of the broad range of topics LJET is interested in.

About AZLawJET:AZLawJET’s purpose and goal is to unify a multitude of technical and liberal disciplines. We seek authors that aim to contribute to the merging areas of law, public policy, and business, but also those that study areas such as intellectual property rights, science and technology, and similar areas of legal academia.

Submitting an Article or Op-Ed: Please submit via Scholastica or ExpressO

Deadline: Ongoing submissions are welcome.

Timeline: whether for an Article or an Op-Ed, author’s that receive a commission of “In Review” will be notified on a rolling-basis.

Article or Op-Ed Criteria: Articles must meet the minimum of 7,500 words (not including footnotes), but some Articles may be of greater length of approximately 15,000 words. These longer Articles are available to authors writing about complex issues that may require scientific studies and a variety of data and analytics. An Op- Ed should have a minimum of 750 words.

AzLawJet, is a completely online journal, which gives us the flexibility to publish articles frequently, as well as included in our longer editions.
